Terms of Use
Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Vellaric (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Service Description
Vellaric is an iOS-first portfolio simulation app. We provide simulated trading tools, order management, analytics, and notifications using public market data. Vellaric is not a broker and does not execute real trades.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Vellaric and capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
Account & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security issue.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) misuse the Service, (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access, (c) interfere with or disrupt servers, (d) reverse engineer any component, or (e) use data from the Service for unlawful purposes.
Market Data & Third Parties
The Service may display or depend on third-party data sources (e.g., Polygon.io, Coindesk). Data may be delayed or inaccurate and is provided “as is”. We are not responsible for errors or interruptions from third-party providers.
No Investment Advice
Information provided by the Service is for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security.
Notifications & Emails
You may receive push notifications (APNs) and emails (via our email provider) related to your account and alerts. You can manage notification preferences in Settings.
Intellectual Property
Vellaric and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service and its content, including software, designs, logos, and trademarks. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may delete your account at any time from Settings; termination may result in deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VELLARIC AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms in the app and update the Last update date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
